To provide an opportunity for school-age children with special needs to explore arts and crafts through participation in an age-appropriate, extracurricular activity that will also promote fine motor, sensorimotor processing and social skills.
Kristin Cockrell, MOT, OTR/L
Kristin has a bachelor's degree in Human Development from the University of California, Davis. She worked with children with autism and their families providing ABA services for two years before entering graduate school. She has a Masters Degree in Occupational Therapy and is licensed in the state of California. She has over 15 years experience working with children in both in a clinical setting as well as in the educational setting. Kristin enjoys quilting/sewing, crafting, camping, soccer and spending time with her three children.
Kelly Marshall, MS
Kelly has a bachelor's degree in Fine Art from San Diego State University and a Masters degree in Special Education. She is a Special Education Teacher, licensed in the state of California. She has a Level 2 Professional Special Education Credential (Mild/Moderate Disabilities), a Professional Clear Multiple Subject Credential, and a Supplemental Art Credential. She has worked in the school setting for the past 10+ years. Kelly enjoys painting, cooking, soccer, jewelry making/beading, and spending time with her two boys.
